Greer wanted to do more for her friend Nancy, fighting ovarian cancer since 2002, than walk in the Relay for Life so she decided to make and sell bracelets after receiving a bead kit as a Christmas gift. Each year she adds a new style or product to her line, all handmade by Greer and her family, friends, and numerous volunteers.
